陶瓷小鎮 Moustiers-Sainte-Marie 就是盛產陶藝的小村莊，城鎮是沿著岩石而建，峭壁高處興建教堂，沿山路可以看到古城的遺跡，古時因防衛用途，有很多隱蔽的洞穴作為監察及避難所，到這城鎮可以登上最高的岩壁上腑瞰整個城鎮內外的建築群，景觀非常潦闊可遠眺聖十字湖的景色。

根據傳說可追溯到12世紀一位騎士Frédéric Mistral 隨十字軍去東征，而向女子St. Mary 承諾安全歸來就會懸掛起這顆星於兩個懸崖峭壁之間，而這顆星至今仍在閃閃發光!!
